When planning your dream family vacation, choosing the right Orlando hotel near Disney is definitely one of the top priorities to have. Luckily, when you stay at Hawthorn Suites Lake Buena Vista you’ll be less than 2 miles from Disney Springs where they’re currently celebrating the Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival at The Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant™!
Enjoy Brews, Dishes, and Entertainment!
When attending the Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival, you can bet the brews, dishes and entertainment are going to be at their best! The newest menu item featured at Raglan Road is the So Berry Les, which was named in honor of the co-owner’s, John Cooke, father, Les, who set a Guinness World Record for setting the strawberry-buying record in 1977. The “So Berry Les” is a refreshing hard seltzer that is infused with Strawberry and Key Lime juiced sourced locally in Florida.
If you’re hungry, then the “Fish with Chips” and the “Shepherd’s to Die for Pie” is a must try dish during your visit to Raglan Road! These signature dishes are a crowd favorite; however, if you’re looking for lighter fare, try “This Shepherd Went Vegan,” which is an alternative version to the Shepherd’s Pie.
Finally, top of all the festivities with an amazing array of entertainment that will be held on the Ragland Road Patio Stage and the Ragland Road Pub stage. Enjoy live acts like the Lisa Canny Band who is a 7-time harp and banjo champion, Emerald Shore, Men or Aran, Blain Curtis, and JigJam who are pioneers in “I-Grass,” a new genre that fuses traditional Irish music, Bluegrass and Americana. Of course, what is an Irish celebration without a bit of dancing? Enjoy live Irish dancers as they perform inside of Raglan Road as you enjoy a pint!
When you return from your full day of celebrating, the kids can enjoy the outdoor pool while you unwind in the hot tub and relax for a new day of family fun! There is so much to do in Orlando during your family vacation!
